My guest in this episode is Sam Marks. Sam has been passionately tied into the start-up scene and travel based lifestyle for the last decade. In 2009, at age 24 he founded SKYCIG in the UK which became Europe’s largest e-cigarette company and was acquired for $100M in 2013. Prior to SKYCIG, Sam was a co-founder of 3 other start-ups with successful exits, including his first while in college in 2005.
He continues to work full time in the start-up scene both as an entrepreneur (current co-founder of Coworker.com) and angel investor. He also travels throughout the year, having now visited over 90 countries. It was his new journey into the investment world and all the unknown new age strategies that eventually lead he and Johnny to start the Invest Like a Boss Podcast.
