My guest in this episode is Sam Marks. Sam has been passionately tied into the start-up scene and travel based lifestyle for the last decade. In 2009, at age 24 he founded SKYCIG in the UK which became Europe’s largest e-cigarette company and was acquired for $100M in 2013. Prior to SKYCIG, Sam was a co-founder of 3 other start-ups with successful exits, including his first while in college in 2005.
He continues to work full time in the start-up scene both as an entrepreneur (current co-founder of Coworker.com) and angel investor. He also travels throughout the year, having now visited over 90 countries.
