
In this episode, I look at a very fast accelerating trend, the war on information and the war on “fake news”. In the agriculture age, people that owned the land and farms had the power, in the industrial age, people that owned the factories and production had the power and in the information age, people that own and control the media have the power.
I discuss how the strategy of branding opposing views and alternative information as “fake news” is a new push for censorship of different ideas, a trend that has also been accelerating on social media like Facebook and Twitter.
