My guest in this episode is Matt Sands. Matt is an engineer with over 24 years of oil & gas industry experience. He was previously employed with Shell Exploration & Production Company and served in various engineering, planning, and leadership roles. Matt owns Silverheels Investments LLC, a mineral rights and royalty interest consulting and investment company. He is currently the President of the National Association of Royalty Owners (NARO), Immediate Past President of the Rocky Mountain Chapter of NARO, and is a Certified Mineral Manager (CMM).
Matt graduated from the Colorado School of Mines with a BS in Engineering with a Mechanical Specialty and a Minor in Public Affairs.
When not helping other mineral owners, he enjoys spending time with his family in the Colorado outdoors cycling, camping, fishing, skiing, and golfing.
